Governor Greg Abbott has signed Rep. Valoree Swanson’s House Bill 121 into law!
Rep. Swanson posted to her Facebook followers:
“I am enormously proud that this pro-Second Amendment and pro-property rights legislation has passed. HB 121 will provide a legal defense to otherwise law-abiding gun-owners who unknowingly enter establishments that obscurely post signage banning guns, as long as they promptly leave when informed of the policy.”
Representative Swanson thanked Senator Brandon Creighton for carrying this bill through the Senate, and she thanked the Governor for signing it!
This bill will have daily positive effects for law-abiding citizens who are just exercising their rights.
